Still, the creators of this app made a good amount of money while it was popular!

3. Video Downloader for Reddit

This app helps you download videos from Reddit and it's super popular! It's the #1 app on the Google Play Store when you search for "Reddit video downloader". The creators are awesome – they reply to every review. The only downside some users mention is a few bugs, but hey, what app is perfect? Most of their users are from the US, and the app practically runs itself, so they don't have many costs. They're definitely making a good profit!

• Primary revenue source: Google AdMob

• One-time in-app purchase for ad-free experience

From the above data it is clear that their main target is to come on the top of search result. And with the above revenue numbers it is clear that they have reduce their expense to zero and still making a decent profit/revenue.
